Research at CREAL

CREAL conducts research projects to study the impact of environmental factors (air or water pollution, radiation, etc.) on the population health. For some projects, the participation of volunteers is needed. We will offer an annual session for the volunteers to explain them our research.

What does it mean to be a volunteer?

If you provide us your data, we will incorporate you into the “volunteers list”. CREAL technicians and researchers could contact you according to your characteristics and the needs of the studies for answering questionnaires and for other health testing. The participation of volunteers in any CREAL study is protected by strict ethical controls. Your authorization will be necessary to participate, and you can withdraw from the study whenever you want. The information provided (which will be treated confidentially in accordance with Data Protection Law 15/1999, December 13th) will greatly help us in the investigation and improvement of population health.
