The CREAL organizes INMA Scientific Conferences 2012 about child health

The Centre for Research in Environmental Epidemiology (CREAL) organizes the INMA Scientific Conferences 2012 that will take place next 15th and 16th November. The joint scientific director and director of INMA project, Dr. Jordi Sunyer, says that “these Open Days are a space where scientists and researchers INMA, and all persons directly or indirectly involved in the project, presents the results of its work and investigations, hence its importance”.

In fact, this event is held every year, and anyone interested in child health can approach and know the work of researchers, what worries them and what is the work carried out.

During these conferences will be two events:

1. INMA Symposium - Genetics, environment and child health. During the morning and early afternoon of November 15th will be held this symposium. Open to all our collaborators, and all professionals in the field of medicine and biomedical and environmental research.

2. Conference open to the public. On November 15th, late in the afternoon (19h), Dr. Ferran Ballester will moderate a panel entitled 'Exposure to toxic compounds during pregnancy and infancy: INMA Project contributions' where you will have the participation of Dra. Marieta Fernandez, Dr. Joan O. Grimalt and Dr. Jordi Sunyer. This is addressed to any person, a INMA collaborator or not, interested in child health.
