The Institute of Public Health of Mexico, led by Dr. Mario Henry Rodriguez Lopez, is an institution of great international prestige, especially in the field of air pollution, its effects on inflammation and the protective role of nutrients, which Dra. Romieu Isabelle has become a world benchmark.

Dr Romieu stays in CREAL have encouraged the collaboration of both institutions in studies of cohorts of infants to study the role of pollutants at the beginning of life on respiratory function in asthma and in neurodesenvolupament and gene-environment interaction.

The fruit of this collaboration was the joint publication of eight original articles.

To strengthen scientific collaboration between the two centers to launch joint projects and facilitate the exchange of researchers proposed that convention.
